Privacy Policy

Afiye+ is made by Sila Technologies in Mogadishu, Somalia. This policy explains what information Afiye+ keeps, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Afiye+ app and the Afiye+ website.

What we collect

• Your account: your name, phone number, email address and profile photo, if you add one. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and photo from Google.
• Your pharmacy: the pharmacy name, phone, address, district and the licence photo you upload.
• Your work in the app: medicines, stock, prices, sales, receipts, credit, payments, tasks and staff.
• Your customers: the phone number, and the name if you add one, of customers you record sales or credit for.
• Subscription payments: the plan you choose and the phone number you paid from.
• App performance: when the app crashes or runs slowly, we receive a short report so we can fix it, plus basic information about which screens are used.

Why we use it

• To run the app: show your stock, record sales, track credit and keep your pharmacy's records.
• To send you alerts, such as low stock, expiring medicines, unpaid credit and staff requests.
• To manage your subscription and confirm your payments.
• To help you when you contact us, and to fix problems and improve the app.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

• People in your pharmacy: the owner and staff see the pharmacy's records, based on their role. Staff do not see everything the owner sees.
• The Afiye+ team: a small team at Sila Technologies can see account and subscription details to approve payments and give support.
• Companies that help us run Afiye+: for hosting, sign-in, notifications and error reports. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
• The law: we share information only if the law requires it.

Your customers' information

The customer records you add belong to your pharmacy. Afiye+ keeps them for you and does not contact your customers on its own. You are responsible for having your customers' permission to record their details.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored securely with our cloud hosting provider, which may be located outside Somalia.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your personal details as explained in the Account Deletion section. Sales and payment records may be kept without your personal details where needed for the pharmacy's records or the law.

Keeping it safe

Only signed-in people can see a pharmacy's records, and each person sees only their own pharmacy. No system is perfectly safe, so please keep your password private and tell us if you think your account was used by someone else.

Your choices

You can see and correct your details in the app at any time. You can turn notification types on or off in Settings. You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to stop using it, or delete your account.

Children

Afiye+ is for people working in pharmacies and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app when the change is important.
